I honestly had zero interest in that, but because you’ve requested it, I’ll give it a shot. I like attempting requests since I don’t get many, so I don’t have an excuse not to do them. lol

No problem! You’ve got a few cute ideas on there and I like that they’re all simple, it works well with this blog. :)
Nope, never, and you actually shouldn’t do that at all. Your nails can’t breathe when you do that and they can get really weak that way. It’s the same as caking on thick makeup and not washing it off at night, your skin can’t breathe. I do understand what you mean and that sounds cool, but it’s really not good to do.
I finally just logged in to the account I use to keep track of nail art and didn’t see a single post I was interested in reblogging. Almost all the nail blogs I follow are posting crackle nails and space/nebular/galaxy nails.
So, I’m sorry followers, but this blog’s still silent. Maybe I’ll be able to come up with something cool on my own to post, my nails are finally strong and long again.
Thanks for the submission, luvlolla!
I don’t always post detailed art like this since I try to keep this blog as simple as possible, but I totally love Spongebob. So even if I never do this, this is awesome and has to be on my blog!

Thanks for the submission! These are some of the best plaid nails I’ve seen.

I’ve been having trouble with my nails, they’ve gone back to being weaker and keep breaking, so I haven’t really been painting them lately which means I haven’t been looking at other nail blogs to get ideas from. I haven’t abandoned this blog, I’m just on a bit of a hiatus while I attempt to patiently let my nails get healthy again.
I’ve been taking vitamins formulated to help nails grow stronger and I’m wondering if somehow they’re making my nails brittle now, like maybe I’m supposed to take occasional breaks from them, I’ve been taking them nonstop for about a year. So I’m going to try that and see if it helps, and hopefully you’ll see more posts from me soon!
I haven’t been losing followers from my absence, and I thank you all for sticking with me, but I wanted to let you know what’s going on before you think I did indeed abandon the blog. Don’t feel obligated to stay just because I’m saying I’ll be back, but I hope you do! :)
Thank you all for being interested in what I post! :D
Thank you so much! :D
I’ll still be updating this blog, but I’ve made a nail blog specifically to share my own work, along with whatever else I might post there such as swatches and quick reviews like mentioning something I tried and don’t think you should waste your money on. If you need a reminder on which looks on this blog have been mine, you can find them all here.
If you’re interested, you can find my new nail blog here. And if you want to stay updated through Facebook, please “Like” the fan page!
And don’t feel obligated just because you follow me here, I won’t be offended if you don’t care about the new blog. I don’t have any delusions that you all follow this blog solely to see my hands. ;)

They’re super easy if you have a large dotting tool, just make a few dots overlapping each other while the polish is still wet! If you don’t have a large dotting tool, what you can do is use the actual brush from the nail polish, it’d work with most brands except ones like OPI where the brush is oval instead of round. Just wipe off almost all the excess polish off the brush and gently dab at your nail a couple times! It doesn’t turn out as neat as a dotting tool but close enough.
I deleted all the tags and then went through every single post to re-tag it, so now all the posts are properly tagged. This also gave me the chance to delete some pointless posts and to add tags that weren’t on the list before.
If you want to see all the tags, you can see them here. Each section is now alphabetized, so it’s MUCH easier to look at.
I figured I’d better take care of that task before this blog became much bigger, and I’m glad I did because it was still a pain in the neck.
Nope, it’s a generic crackle polish I bought from a store in downtown Los Angeles.

Thanks so much! It just so happens I made a water marbling tutorial, you can see it here. I’ve gotta warn you, it was my first tutorial and I didn’t even consider the thought that many people besides my subscribers would see it, so it’s not as professional as it probably should be, including the fact that I swear a few times. But only a few and I personally think that adds to the hilarity, it just proves you can still have a good result even if you mess up. But if you can’t handle profanity, go ahead and mute it, you’ll still get the jist of it without the sound.
